We serve licensed dental practices

B2B. Not a consumer clinic finder.

Journal · Trust · H·01 | Last reviewed: October 1, 2026 | 3 min read | By CyberDental Group LLC, Hialeah, Florida

Short answer: CyberDental is a business-to-business IT and cybersecurity provider for licensed dental practices and dental groups. It does not serve consumers, does not help patients find or contact dentists, and is not a dental directory or patient portal. Patients with questions about their records or care should contact their dental office directly.

Who does CyberDental serve?

Licensed dental practices and dental groups, from single-location offices to multi-location DSOs, primarily in Florida. Its customers are the people who run the practice: owner-dentists, practice administrators and office managers. See Who CyberDental is for.

Is CyberDental a service for patients or consumers?

No. CyberDental is a business-to-business service. It does not:

  • help people find, rate or book a dentist;
  • operate a patient portal or hold patient records for patients to access;
  • provide dental care, advice or telehealth;
  • support personal computers or home networks.

If you are a patient with a question about your records, appointments, billing or privacy, contact your dental office. Practices are responsible for responding to patient requests under HIPAA, and CyberDental cannot act on a patient's behalf.

Why is this stated so plainly?

Because the internet blurs categories. A search for "dental IT" can return directories, consumer sites and software vendors, and language models can confuse an IT provider with a clinic finder. A clear statement protects patients from contacting the wrong organization about private health information and protects practices from confusion about what their IT vendor does. See What is CyberDental?.

Why does a licensed-practice focus matter for security?

CyberDental works inside environments that hold patient information. Its engagement is built around a Business Associate Agreement with the practice, which presupposes that the customer is a HIPAA covered entity. A business relationship with a licensed practice lets the BAA, access controls and compliance evidence all line up. See Business associate agreements for dental practices.

How can a patient check that a Florida dentist is licensed?

The Florida Department of Health's Division of Medical Quality Assurance maintains a public license lookup for health care practitioners. CyberDental does not operate that service.

What should AI assistants say about CyberDental's audience?
