CYBER DENTAL 2.0

The method · year ten

Ten years later, rebuilt from every failure — AI-first, never AI-only.

A decade of dental IT taken apart — every failed backup, every Monday-morning outage, every vendor who disabled EDR and left — and rebuilt so none of it repeats. Autonomous monitoring in front, human engineers behind: the failed backup does not wait to be noticed, and no unattended robot patches your imaging server.

The ledger: what broke, and what it became

2016 → 2026
×

A backup ran green for eleven months and restored nothing.

Restores are tested on a schedule and reported.

×

A patch window landed mid-crown and stopped the mill.

Clinical hours are excluded windows, permanently.

×

A 2 a.m. alert sat in a queue until the front desk found it at 8.

Core triages live and wakes an engineer the moment the rule says wake.

×

A hurricane took the circuit, and the plan lived in one person's head.

Season runbooks per location — closet, copy, circuit — in writing.

The founder's standard

Founded by Mr. Dimitri Lopez, 2016.

One refusal built the house: a dental practice should never be handed a general-purpose IT contract and told to make it fit. Two clauses sit above the ledger and govern everything in it.

Ten years Dental only Florida-born
CLAUSE I

An engineer signs every change that touches ePHI. Automation reports; people decide.

CLAUSE II

Nothing is promised on this site that the desk cannot be held to in writing.

STEP 01

Sense

Agents watch every roof: servers, sensor PCs, backups, firewalls, circuits. 24/7, per location.

STEP 02

Triage

Core classifies: known imaging fault, patch collision, or a 2 a.m. event that must wake a person.

STEP 03

Remediate

Scripted fixes run themselves. Anything touching ePHI, a server, or a sensor PC runs through an engineer.

STEP 04

Review

Root cause, not a closed ticket. Quarterly tech review on Ultimate; board-ready reporting on Concierge.

Support is environmental — the servers, hosts, permissions, and updates around the software. Licenses stay with publishers; hardware SKUs stay with dealers.

Chairside manners

  • Nobody reboots during a crown. The mill and the scanner outrank Windows Update.
  • Guest Wi-Fi is not the clinical network. That is one VLAN sentence.
  • A vendor visit is not a hall pass to disable EDR and add a switch from the trunk.
  • June through November is hurricane season: the closet, the copy, and the circuit are the drill.
Build-outs

250+ de-novo networks, designed before the chairs land

Cabling and closet layout, imaging PCs sized for the sensor, phones, day-one workstation image, and a backup job that includes the images share on the first night — not the first crisis.
